The Floor is a new game show created by Talpa Entertainment Productions.
​
In this game show, 100 candidates take the stage (or in this case a giant LED-floor) to win one-on-one quiz-duels, conquer the floor and win €100.000,-.
​
The LED-floor is devided into 100 squares, each having its own category. At the very beginning of the show a randomizer picks the first contestant to partake in a quiz-duel. This contestant has to challenge one of their neighbouring contestants, but they have to pick wisely as they have to play the other contestant's category, which they claim to have quite some knowledge on. When a contestant wins the duel, they also win their opponents square on the floor, thus expanding their territory. The goal is to win as many duels as possible, and to eventually be the last one standing and conquering the whole floor.
